BMX Action Trick Team | Video

El Equipo de Acción truco de BMX fue el primero y más famoso de todos los equipos de estilo libre que surgen en todo el mundo en la década de 1980. Los miembros del equipo son considerados leyendas del deporte que les ayudaron a construir. Sobre ella las 7 de años de historia, el equipo de maquillaje cambiado un par de veces con la única constante es el del comandante del equipo - R. L. Osborn.

En la revista BMX Action de septiembre de 1985, tal vez algunos de ustedes han tenido la previsión de pedir el VHS exclusiva de RIPPIN ' un video dedicada al Equipo de BMX Actión de truco de BMX, estilo libre de los años 80!? Con suerte, en mi opinión, dadas las videograbadoras de la infancia de ese momento y las galeras de transcodificación a través de los EE.UU. 

Afortunadamente Sliwinski de Scott nos excavado y cargar una copia perfecta, la oportunidad de apreciar el talento de Mr. RL Osborn y el interior de Ron Wilton al equipo, sesiones en Asistente de Publicaciones, el demos, sesiones de fotos con ventosa Osborn, y la refrigeración en la playa con Aparijo, Fiola y otros.

Sebastian Keep baja 3 pisos por una pared vertical con su bici..!!!

La motivación y las ganas de empujar los límites fue lo que llevo al biker Sebastian Keep a probar si era capaz de marcarse un wallride de tres pisos con su bici. Una auténtica locura que como podrás ver en el vídeo necesita de una importante preparación previa y unas cuantas pruebas.

El propio Sebastian Keep y sus amigos sabían que lo que estaban haciendo no era del todo legal, así que tuvieron que vestir chalecos y cascos de obra para intentar pasar desapercibidos durante el montaje y la realización del salto. No te pierdas este vídeo de tres minutos en el que sentirás auténtico vértigo en algunas tomas.

Everyone in BMX knows that Mike Hucker’s the guy when it comes to tackling just about any wild set-up; it doesn’t matter how gnarly or bizarre it might be, he’ll plow head-first into it with a smile. He did exactly that for Red Bull Trail Loop, wasting no time mastering a full loop built between two sets of dirt jumps in Pennsylvania. Check it out!

The best moments from the 2014 UCI BMX World Championships..!!!

The slightly revised 2014 UCI BMX race format for the World titles would award the top 16 World ranked Elite Men and top 8 Elite Women riders from 2013 UCI overall rankings a direct route to the 1/8th final single elimination qualifiers. The remaining Elite riders that qualified for the World Championships race would all be bracketed up and go head to head in 3 motos of racing on the Rotterdam track.

Men Junior

For the young Dutchman, Niek Kimmann, winning the Men Junior world title in the Time Trial was a great victory, but not his main goal of the weekend. Entering into the day of racing competition, the Men Junior class was full of potential World Champions, but only one could take home the title. Last years World Champion, Sean Gaian, was just coming back from injury, but was racing strong all day. As they both transferred into the main event, it would be the first time they would meet up. As the gate dropped, Niek had the best gate of the day, and took the early lead, never to be challenged. Winning both titles, Niek unified the Men Junior titles.

Women Junior

Being UCI World ranked #1 has brings great pressure to some riders entering into the World Championships, but for the young woman from Ecuador, Domenica Michelle Azuero Gonzalez, its did not faze her one bit. Sandie Thibaut was on hot streak after winning the World Champion title on Saturday night in the Women Junior class, but when it came down to the Jr Women's main event, it was a battle between only two riders, Domenica and Shealen Reno from the USA. Domenica had the start of the night for the Women Jr and took the early lead, while Shealen struggled on her first few pedal stroke, but quickly came to form, and began to chase down the gap for the lead. But Domenica proved to the world wide stage that the ranking of UCI #1 was well earned, as she held onto the lead, and took the World #1 title!. Shealen settled for 2nd, with the Russian woman Tatiana Kapitanova in 3rd.

Women Elite

The Women Elite field was full of talent and past World Champions and it would be a full on drag race each and every lap on the Championships day. Early upsets would include Caroline Buchanan, Felica Stancil, Merle Van Benthem, and Magalie Pottier all not moving onto the final. But don't underestimate the talent that was still in the main event, as five past World Champions lined up when the gate was ready to drop. Mariana Pajon was looking blazing fast on the track all weekend and when the gate fell, she turned up the power and took to the early lead. Alise Post from the USA was back after a long drawn out injury obtained from the 1st UCI BMX World Cup of the season, but her hard work and determination paid off, as she slipped into Pajon's slip-stream and took the 2nd place spot. The hometown crowd favorite, Laura Smulders, battled her way back from a bad start, to the 3rd place position, and that would be how the women finished up. The 2012 Olympic gold medalist, Pajon, regained her World Championships title, and gave Colombia something to cheer extensively about.

Men Elite

The Men Elite class looked to be an all out battle of the world fastest riders today, as the best of BMX were speckled through the entire Men Elite field. Maris Strombergs was looking to be a threat to win another world title as he was flying around the track, but in his semi event, as he entered the last turn in 2nd place and looking to advance, his front tire seemed to blow out and cause a heroundious crash, taking the Olympic Champion out of the running for the days title. Connor Fields (USA) and Sam Willoughby both were riding strong and would line up next to each other for the main event. As the gate slammed, Fields took the early lead, with Willoughby in 2nd and Aussie powerhouse Anthony Dean in 3rd. Willoughby closed the gap on Fields down the 2nd straightway and as the 2 entered turn #2, the riders seemed to enter the same space and unfortunately for Fields, he went down, taking Dean and most of the pack with him. Willoughby stayed up and took the lead and easily went onto win his 3rd Men Elite world Title. Tory Nyhaug from Canada dodged the wreckage and finished up 2nd with Tre Whyte from Great Britain finishing 3rd.

Belgrade is pretty much curved wall ride heaven and that's part of the reason why I was really happy to bring Luc Legrand an Erik Elstran, two of my favourite riders, to Belgrade for a week of creative street madness last summer for the Grand Belgrade Hotel video. At first, their riding styles may seem completely different but they both shred on their bikes in a different way to what’s fashionable right now... and they're really nice guys.

Luc had already been to Belgrade twice before and knew some really good local spots. Actually, he once pulled a crazy wallride down some stairs there that made one of the best ever covers of Soul Magazine. And that's where we were headed...

Kaden "Dubby" Stone | 10 for 10 | Video

BMX OS Merida | BMX Back in the Day - A pictorial history 1979 - 2011

A historical collection of my old BMX photos and a few newer ones. No pictures exist from 1989 to 2006 because I stopped riding during that time. Many, many thanks to Dustin Smith for editing this together for me! The bikes are, in chronological order: 1982 Thruster Tri Power with Tange TRX forks, old Schwinn Stingray that I modified just for doing wheelies, 1983 first gen Haro Freestyler, 1984 Hutch Trickstar, that bike broke very quickly! 1985 Haro Master which was my last bike until I got a "new" 1985 Haro Master on Ebay.

As seen in newer pics. Blue GT is a 1987 Performer. Pink bike is a 1988 GT Perfromer. I like the GTs alot, wish I would have bought one back in the 80s! I dont really collect these bikes, I just love riding them and doing the pre-1987 style of flatland! I feel like its a lost art!.

Una colección histórica de mis viejas fotos de BMX y un par de los más nuevos. No existen fotos 1989-2006 porque dejé de montar durante ese tiempo. Muchas, muchas gracias a Dustin Smith por la edición de esta recopilacion para mí! Las bikes son, en orden cronológico: 1982 Thrister Tri Power con horquilla Tange TRX, Una vieja Schwinn Stingray que he modificado sólo por hacer caballitos, 1983 Haro Freestyler de primera generación, 1984 Hutch Trickstar, esa bici se rompió muy rápidamente! 1985 Haro Master que era mi última bici hasta que llegó una "nueva", 1985 Haro Master comprada por Ebay.

Como verán en las nuevas fotos: traigo una GT azul Modelo 1987. La Bici rosada es una GT Performer 1988. Me gustan mucho las GTs, me hubiera gustado haber comprado una en los años 80s! Realemente yo no recolecto estas bicis, me encanta montarlas y hacer flatland al estilo de 1987! Siento que es un arte perdido!

I decided to post this video for free for all to see (not as a paid download), as a way to give back to the industry / my friends who made all the years of riding so much fun.
